Two pages, octavo. Dublin, no date. Fine condition. To “Dear
Mr. Macalister.” Yeats writes:
“You came to see me some months ago —
or was it your president… the name being the same I am not certain
— about my proposal to found a body within the Irish academy
which could act as an academy of letters. The matter has to be referred
again to the council but from this moment to this I have heard nothing.
Please let me know what the council has decided. Yours ever, W.B.
Yeats.”
